What Happens When You File a Report

1
Anyone Can Submit a Report
Families, neighbors, veterinarians, community members — anyone who witnesses unethical practices can file a report. Select the offense categories, upload supporting evidence (photos, videos, screenshots, documentation), and provide the entity's email and your contact information. Unsupported allegations are rejected.
2
The Flag Goes Active
Once validated, the flag appears on the entity's PuppyReports™ Card. The public sees the offense category tags and total flag points — no long narratives, no gossip. Just structured, categorized facts.
3
The Entity Is Notified
The breeder, rescue, or rehomer receives an automated notification that a Flag Indicator Report has been filed. They are informed of their options to participate in improving their PuppyReports™ Card.
4
Families See the Full Picture
Flag points, category tags, family reviews, and hearts are all displayed separately on the PuppyReports™ Card. Families see the full picture — risk signals and positive signals — and make their own informed decision.

Not Gossip. Not Hearsay. Documented Facts.

Every Flag Indicator Report requires uploaded supporting documentation. This protects the integrity of the system, the rights of the accused, and the trust of the community.

What Flags Are Not

X
Not for personal disputes. Disagreements about puppy color, wait times, or personality mismatches belong in Family Experience Reviews, not flags.
X
Not for competitor attacks. Submitting flags against competitors without genuine evidence violates our terms and results in account suspension.
X
Not a replacement for law enforcement. If you witness animal abuse or illegal activity, contact authorities immediately. PuppyReports™ is a transparency tool, not an enforcement agency.
X
Not based on hearsay. Flags must be based on first-hand knowledge with documented evidence. “Someone told me” is not sufficient.

Every Dog Deserves Accountability

Your documented report creates visibility. Patterns emerge. Families are protected. Dogs are safeguarded. One report can change everything.
