For families waiting to bring a puppy home

Eight weeks is a long time
to wait for someone you've never met.

Most families pick out their puppy weeks before pickup day. What happens between the deposit and the drive home is usually a black box, occasional photos in a text thread, hopes shared on Facebook, anxiety about whether everything is okay. The Puppy Tracker turns that gap into the most important bonding stretch of the entire adoption.

The eight-week journey

Watch your puppy grow up.

Every milestone, dated and photographed by the person raising your puppy. You see what only the breeder sees.

Week 0 · Birth
The whelping log appears. Birth weight, sex, collar color, time of arrival. The first photograph of your puppy.
Week 2 · Eyes open
Around day twelve, your puppy sees the world for the first time. The exact day is logged. The first eyes open photo arrives in your tracker.
Week 3 · First sounds
Vocalizations begin. Tiny grunts, the first attempt at a bark. Personality starts to surface in the litter dynamic.
Week 4 · Steady walking
From wobbles to confident steps. The breeder posts the first short video of the litter exploring. You start to recognize your puppy.
Week 5 · Weaning & weight
Solid food begins. Weekly weights are charted. The first deworming appears in the health record.
Week 6 · Vet check & first vaccinations
The veterinary record is uploaded. First DA2PP vaccine on file. Microchip registered to your breeder, ready to transfer to you at pickup.
Week 7 · Temperament evaluation
Your breeder runs a structured temperament evaluation and posts the result for your puppy specifically, what kind of household, what energy level, what handler. The match becomes evidence-based.
Week 8 · Go home day
Pickup logistics, your contract, the go-home checklist, what to bring, what to expect. The first eight weeks become a permanent record you keep forever.

The promise to families

You never pay for this.

The Puppy Tracker is provided by your breeder as part of their PuppyReports membership. There's no signup, no fee, no app to install. When your breeder matches a puppy to your family, you receive a private link or a tracking code. Open it, and your puppy's record is there.

PuppyReports does not handle puppy payments or take a commission from your breeder. We document the record around the relationship.
