About Norwich Terrier Puppies, Breeders & DogFacts
The Norwich Terrier, originating in England, is a small working terrier in the Terrier Group, historically bred in East Anglia to bolt rats and hunt vermin on farms and in stable yards. Hardy, affectionate, and spirited, they are sociable little dogs who enjoy family life and generally get along with children and other pets. Typically 9-10 inches tall and 11-12 pounds, they have a hard, wiry weather resistant double coat in red, wheaten, black and tan, or grizzle that needs weekly brushing and periodic hand stripping to maintain texture. They need 30-60 minutes of daily exercise, enjoy games and short walks, and thrive with close human company.
