Compact and low energy, it typically stands around 9-10 inches and weighs 8-14 pounds, with a domed head, short muzzle, large dark eyes, long feathered ears, and a silky coat in classic Blenheim, King Charles (black and tan), Prince Charles (tricolor), and Ruby colors. Grooming is moderate, with weekly brushing, regular ear cleaning, and routine nail and dental care. It sheds moderately; short daily walks and indoor play meet most exercise needs, and care is needed in hot weather due to its short nose.
