About Corgipoo Puppies, Breeders & DogFacts

The Corgipoo, a cross between the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Poodle, is a small designer hybrid standing roughly 10-12 inches tall and weighing 12-28 pounds. Not recognized by AKC, it is registered through the ACHC and IDCR. Coats vary by generation: F1 pups often show a straighter, shedding coat while F1B and multigen dogs lean toward the Poodle's wavy, lower shedding texture requiring weekly brushing. Expect the Corgi's bold, herding driven alertness paired with the Poodle's quick trainability and playful wit. Health concerns inherit from both parents (see health panel). Best suited to attentive owners who provide daily exercise, mental work, and consistent training.

Parent Breeds

This is a designer cross combining: Corgi + Poodle. As a mixed breed cross, individual puppies may inherit traits from either parent breed in varying degrees. Health testing requirements and temperament expectations should be evaluated for both parent breeds.
