About Bullmatian Puppies, Breeders & DogFacts

The Bullmatian, a cross between the Bulldog and the Dalmatian, is a medium to large companion dog recognized by designer registries such as the ACHC and IDCR but not by the AKC. Adults typically stand 16-21 inches and weigh 45-65 pounds, with a short, dense coat that sheds year round; F1 pups often show Dalmatian spotting on a Bulldog like frame, while F1B and multigen litters vary more in build and markings. Expect the Bulldog's mellow, affectionate stubbornness paired with the Dalmatian's athletic drive, alertness, and playful energy. Health risks are inherited from both parents (see health panel). Best suited to active owners who can provide daily exercise, firm positive training, and a cool home environment.

Parent Breeds

This is a designer cross combining: Bulldog + Dalmatian. As a mixed breed cross, individual puppies may inherit traits from either parent breed in varying degrees. Health testing requirements and temperament expectations should be evaluated for both parent breeds.
